My Cornwall - Polzeath mid winter grey

It's been seriously grey so far this year in these Celtic climes, well, it is mid winter after all.  Grey.  That strange, beguiling non-colour, (or combination of all colours, depending on the way you look at it).  Timeless. Said to relate to the element of air, and the moon, and the ebb and flow of the tide.  Grey, in these winter paintings of the Celtic coast reflects granite tones and west facing Atlantic light.  It emphasizes the need to have patience and perseverance, to reflect that the end of winter will arrive soon enough ....
