La magnifique baie de Morlaix in north Finistère is one of the most beautiful in Brittany .... lucky for me, it's only 2km from my door. The blend of tempestuous westerly winds and easterly anti-cyclones with their tantalizing thermal updraughts, makes it a top spot for kitesurfers. I took these photos on Le Fond de la Baie Locquirec - my favourite local hangout. Here, the water runs pure turquoise over the broad shallow sands where the Douron estuary meets the sea .... a playground for all boardriders ....
